Through my photography, I try to inspire others to appreciate the beauty and mystery of birds as I see them, with the hope that I can instill a sense of urgency for their protection and the conservation of their habitat.
Truthfulness and honesty in my photos are vital to me. All of my photographs were taken in the wild without any wrongful baiting, use of playback or lures of any kind, with the exception of the feeders in my backyard.
In post-processing, I make simple editing corrections to help optimize the image through changes in exposure, cropping, sharpening, color correction, noise removal and burning and dodging. Occasionally, I may make small editing changes that remove minor elements that detract from the image. I do not add elements that were not there and I do not composite images. I never use A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) in any of my images.
